Presenting at The Protein Society 40th Anniversary Symposium

I had the honor of attending and delivering a talk at The Protein Society 40th Anniversary Symposium in Boston, where I was deeply grateful to receive the Young Investigator Travel Award.

During the symposium, I presented our ongoing research on the systematic redesign of synaptic vesicle proteins. In addition to the talk, our poster session highlighted how these computationally engineered protein variants successfully preserve native core stability and fold geometry despite substantial sequence modifications. It was equally exciting to attend Alper Karagöl's talk presenting our parallel collaborative project investigating natural evolutionary variations and dynamic constraints across protein families.

The symposium provided an outstanding setting to exchange ideas and discuss new frontiers in structural biology, protein engineering, and computational biophysics with colleagues from across the globe.
